Brian has studied with such martial arts greats as Takayuki Kubota, Dan Inosanto, Chai Sirisute, and Benny the Jet Urquidez, and he passes on his training knowledge to you.  Whether you wish to try a fun way to lose weight, learn self-defense, or add a philosophical dimension to your workouts, Brian's knowledge of Wing Chun Kung Fu, Muay Thai kickboxing, Jeet Kune Do, and Mixed Martial Arts provides years of electrifying training and study for you to enjoy on your road to well being. 

Mindfulness Meditation

"Mindfulness" is a translation of the Pali word "sati", and it describes a level of awareness or a remembrance of being.  Although derived from Buddhist mind training, Brian teaches the secularized forms that have made the UCLA Mindful Awareness  Research Center a west coast home for the intersection of neuroscience and contemplative study.  This practice has been shown to have an astonishing range of health benefits, including decreased stress, anxiety, distraction, anger, and depression, as well as increased calm, joy, empathy, compassion, and connection.  Brian is a teacher for MARC and offers their introductory MAPs 1 classes to the public in the San Fernando Valley.
